Celtic's Callum McGregor was added to Scotland's squad for their 2018 World Cup qualifiers on Sunday.
The 24-year-old made it six goals for the season with a double strike for Scottish champions Celtic in a 2-2 draw against Hibernian on Saturday.
His inclusion in Gordon Strachan's squad was prompted by injuries to Celtic team-mates Stuart Armstrong and Scott Brown.
Scotland face Slovakia at Glasgow's Hampden Park on Thursday before playing Slovenia in Ljubljana on Sunday, October 8.
Scotland know that a win over both Slovakia and Slovenia would propel them to second place in European qualifying zone Group F and a potential play-off place.
The Scots have not played in a major tournament since the 1998 World Cup finals in France.
